“ My father and I were highly impressed.
The guides were attentive, fluent in English and personable. They took good care of
my father – this made our Vietnam trip more enjoyable! The hotels were
incredible and we had a great time! ”

Thank you for visiting the Vietnam section of our website. All tours are not created equal, nor are all travel companies. In true luxury travel there is no 'One Size Fits All' and some travelers will not find us to be a good fit for their needs. Explorers who repeatedly travel with us all seem to share the following attributes -
1. You cherish learning about other
cultures.
2. You value your time and don't want it wasted because of poor
planning and/or execution.
3. You appreciate guides with real expertise, intelligence, and passion
for their nation.
4. Your most treasured travel memories include genuine interactions
with locals.
We use the word ‘Tours’ for want of a better term. Since 2004 the Easy Tours family, both at the destinations we offer and in the U.S., has worked tirelessly to design and facilitate authentic luxury experiences for our guests. About 70% of our guests today are Repeats and Referrals.
A lot of visitors arrive in Vietnam not knowing what to expect. Almost all
of them are amazed by what they find - a nation that has progressed rapidly over the last 50
years, and has done so in its own unique manner, absorbing the modern into its ancient way
of life almost seamlessly.
Vietnam is a very diverse destination and has something for all types of explorers. There
are vibrant large cities with never ending traffic, smaller historic ancient cities such as
Hoi An and Hue, gorgeous beaches on its central and southern coasts, and incredible natural
wonders such as HaLong Bay.
Southeast Asia is a region whose residents are passionate about street food and the
Vietnamese have the most prolific street food culture of all. Come the evenings or weekends
the main streets in Hanoi, Saigon and other cities have an enchanting festive atmosphere as
seemingly everyone is eating outside.
Our Vietnam Luxury Tours give you opportunities to get personalized insights into the unique
culture by handpicking places and experiences that most tourists will never see. Although
poverty is by no means eradicated, the standard of living of the average Vietnamese has
improved significantly over the past five decades.
Easy Tours was born in 2004 with two guiding principles - to provide
the best small group and private luxury tours for explorers from North America, and to
always value our guest's time. We have not sacrificed these principles
on the altar of growth - we still guide just a couple of thousand guests a year total in all
the countries we now call home.
Please take the time to review one or more of our detailed itineraries,
which are different from other tours, to determine whether we are a good
fit for you. The best tour of Vietnam for you is one that touches your heart - your
itinerary should make you really want it to start right now!
We know that the best Vietnam Tours should include experiences that delight and amaze you
every day of your exploration. This can only be achieved by a boutique agency with local
expertise and focus on the following:
1. Genuine interactions with locals.
2. Great rooms at great hotels with excellent cuisine and service.
3. Vietnam's best Guides.
4. USA and Vietnam based Specialists with expert local knowledge.

The best experiences and places for you in Vietnam depends on what you most enjoy most when
you explore, and what time of the year you will be exploring. Talk to us if you would like
expert suggestions on what we would recommend based on your individual travel preferences.
Most American explorers start their journey in either Hanoi (in the North) or Saigon (in the
South), Vietnam’s largest and most vibrant cities. For those starting in Hanoi, an
overnight cruise on HaLong Bay is almost always the next destination. Our Vietnam tours
start in Hanoi and move south, but this can be reversed.
For explorers who have time and want to experience more of Vietnam's best places, the
next destinations will be regions in the proximity on the two metropolises', with Sapa
and Ninh Binh as excursions from Hanoi, and Can Tho and the Mekong Delta for those starting
in Saigon.
For most of our guests their next stop after Hanoi or Saigon will be in central Vietnam,
with two of Vietnam's premier destinations being located here. The charming Imperial
city of Hue and its wonderful historic monuments located on the Perfume River is a must
while in Vietnam, and the ancient seaport of Hoi An is one of Asia's premier
destinations for explorers.
The last stop for many with be the other big city, Saigon or Hanoi. As the best tour company
for Vietnam, we offer the option to add beach time or additional destinations in Vietnam, as
well as tours of other Southeast Asian nations. Those who want to enjoy beach time can
choose to add a day or two at Hoi An to experience the nice beaches there, or head to Nha
Trang or Phu Quoc Island for amazing beaches and/or water sports activities.
If your goal is to avoid warmer temperatures,
mid-October to mid-April is the best time to visit Vietnam, but please note that
temperatures in Southern Vietnam, including Saigon, do not vary much throughout the year and
stay fairly warm throughout. Temperatures in Hanoi and HaLong can be fairly cold during
winter and the northern highland regions such as Sapa can even see snow!
Although it can, and does, rain at almost any time of year, the main rainy season varies
greatly through Vietnam due to it being a long and thin country with three different climate
zones. Over 2000 miles of coastline keeps the temperatures moderate in the coastal areas,
while the weather patterns vary inland.
Rainy season in the Hanoi and HaLong area, and in the Southern regions of Saigon and the
Mekong Delta, is May through September, while Hoi An and Hue in Central Vietnam see most of
their rain from mid-September through Mid-December.

Having facilitated the top-rated escorted tours of Vietnam for North American
travelers for over a decade, Easy Tours knows what makes for a truly memorable exploration.
We believe that the three most important parts of the best Vietnam tours are well planned
itineraries, great guides, and boutique luxury hotels.
We are able to offer the private tours of Vietnam for upscale explorers because we
understand what our guests enjoy. Our guests like a diverse mix of culture, nature, local
colors, history, and insights into the everyday lives of the locals. Easy Tours focuses on
providing such experiences.
Because we know great food and a good night's sleep are an integral part of the best
Vietnam tours, we offer options between gourmet regional cuisine and fine western
fare.
We feel that the most important facet of the best tour packages in Vietnam is your
guide's passion for, and knowledge of, their homeland. It is human interactions that
make up a discerning explorers' fondest memories, not how many sights, or cities, they
visited while touring. Our guests tend to wax poetic about our colleagues, and write many
paragraphs about them in their reviews!
Passion leads to excellence, and our guests interact with people deeply committed to your
satisfaction all through the reservation and travel experience. This is a key reason why
about 70% of our guests are repeat and referral travelers today, and our reviewers
consistently state that we are not just the best tour operator in Vietnam, we are unmatched
in the world! Please take a minute or two to read some of our guest reviews. You will notice
that almost all our guests, during their exploration, develop relationships with Easy
Tours' Guides. We have many guests from over a decade ago that, even today, maintain
relationships with our Vietnam based colleagues.
